Sorrento
Sorrento sits atop cliffs overlooking the Bay of Naples. This coastal town is more popular with tourists from around the world, which means it can get crowded during peak periods. However, its popularity is justified by the stunning views and its charming, walkable town centre.

– Vallone dei Mulini
Explore ruins from the water powered mill, Vallone dei Mulini is a popular Sorrento attraction. The park is free to enter, but some experiences take place within that cost money, including a wine tasting.
– Piazza Tasso
Spend time people watching at this popular town square filled with cafes. Enjoy an espresso or a drink at an outdoor table while soaking in the Italian summer ambience. Piazza Tasso also features ruins you can explore and is a short walk from the beach.
Both Naples and Sorrento are equally beautiful, and visiting both towns is highly recommended if possible. Whether you choose Naples or Sorrento for your holiday, you can’t go wrong! Plan to spend about three days in each town to fully experience their charm and history.
